This role requires being onsite with the client 3 days per week in Jersey City or Pennington, NJ, with a 5-day away mandate per quarter.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for web-based applications.
- Develop and execute automated test scripts using Selenium with Java/Python.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and derive test scenarios.
- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing using automation tools.
- Manage test cases, defects, and execution tracking in JIRA and Octane.
- Design and optimize SQL queries for backend/data validation.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives).
- Ensure quality standards, reporting, and continuous improvement of automation processes.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in QA and test automation engineering.
- Associates Degree or greater.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience in Selenium WebDriver for automation.
- Proficiency in Java and/or Python programming.
