Quality Engineering Co-Op - Fall 2026

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Identify and recommend process improvements in addition to specified projects.
• Conduct statistical analysis.
• Affiliate with procedure control and quality planning.
• Organize, communicate, and reduce quality issues.
• Attend regular department meetings, as well as training sessions, symposiums, and other appropriate educational opportunities.
• Perform or review systems analysis, testing, and documentation for existing processes.
• Take ownership and responsibility for identified quality engineering projects.
• Participate on project teams for assigned projects; analyze improvements and new product or applications and develop requirements and specifications with the team.
• Work within specifications provided to meet project goals and objectives in a timely and accurate manner.
• Collaborate with peers, project team members, and other departments on new material development, testing, and implementation.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of related engineering discipline functional and technical skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Access.
• Good writing skills and interpersonal skills.

Education and/or Experience Qualifications

• Full-time student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.

Other Benefits

• $25.00 per hour/40 hours a week.
• Housing stipend OR travel stipend available (if qualifies).
