ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify and recommend process improvements in addition to specified projects.
- Conduct statistical analysis.
- Affiliate with procedure control and quality planning.
- Organize, communicate, and reduce quality issues.
- Attend regular department meetings, as well as training sessions, symposiums, and other appropriate educational opportunities.
- Perform or review systems analysis, testing, and documentation for existing processes.
- Take ownership and responsibility for identified quality engineering projects.
- Participate on project teams for assigned projects; analyze improvements and new product or applications and develop requirements and specifications with the team.
- Work within specifications provided to meet project goals and objectives in a timely and accurate manner.
- Collaborate with peers, project team members, and other departments on new material development, testing, and implementation.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of related engineering discipline functional and technical skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Access.
- Good writing skills and interpersonal skills.
Education and/or Experience Qualifications
- Full-time student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
Other Benefits
- $25.00 per hour/40 hours a week.
- Housing stipend OR travel stipend available (if qualifies).
