Responsibilities
- Prepare and operate a wide variety of standard inspection or test equipment consisting of multiples of measurement tools: Zeiss CMM w/Calypso software, Keyence IM series microscope, Fisher XRF, DMM-multimeters, oscilloscopes, micrometers, veneers, height gages, etc.
- To ensure or verify high quality incoming material, subassemblies and systems in accordance with available instructions and specifications.
- Complete and update equipment records, calibration, travelers, job work orders, FAI and other project documentation, including environmental and process indicators.
- Pursue and achieve required certifications, travel necessary.
- Performs the CMM programing, set-up technique, calibration, inspect machine shop in process, inspection of incoming, in process assembly and final as needed.
- Inspect to the required standard, including but not limited to QMS procedures, IPC610/620, J-STD 0001 + Space, NASA 8739.
- Verifies and analyzes test results against acceptability criteria (Customer ICD and dwg, ATP data sheets).
- Inspection scope includes incoming, in-process and final.
- Complies with a variety of documents including QA400, ICD, DWGs, test specifications, wiring diagrams, schematics, etc. and make necessary recommendations for edit or change in test procedures and specifications and or process to ensure compliance.
- Engage as a partner and mentor to peer inspectors and quality team.
Qualifications
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in area of responsibility Inspection experience in the Electronics or Aerospace Industry
- CMM inspection experience
