Duties and Responsibilities
- Aid in overseeing and monitoring quality assurance for project engineering, procurement, construction, inspection, and testing activities, and compliance with federal regulations.
- Track and manage corrective action records (CARs) as per FTA requirements.
- Create, deploy, and oversee key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure 100% first pass quality across all processes and products.

- Document detailed reports of problems, findings, observations, and issues; collaborate with engineers and operators to resolve recurring issues.
- Evaluate and address non-conformances, deviations, and waivers related to design and quality requirements.
- Participate in reviewing and interpreting codes for engineering features.
Minimum Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a bachelor’s degree in an engineering specialty.
- Two years of non-registered professional civil engineering experience.
- Knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and mathematics.
- Ability to perform civil and industrial engineering design work, supervise construction and inspections, and analyze structural features.

Work Schedule and Location
- Monday – Friday, 8-hour shift.
- Location: HART offices in Honolulu, Hawaii 96813.
- Telecommuting is not currently available.
- Candidates must be able to commute or relocate to Honolulu for the first day of employment.
