Developing and maintaining automated test scripts: Writing and updating test scripts using Selenium WebDriver in conjunction with programming languages like Java or Python to automate the testing of web applications.
Designing and implementing automation frameworks: Creating and enhancing robust test automation frameworks (e.g., Data-Driven, Keyword-Driven, Hybrid) to improve efficiency, reusability, and maintainability of test assets.
Executing automated tests and analyzing results: Running automated test suites, interpreting test outcomes, and identifying discrepancies or defects.
Defect management: Documenting, tracking, and reporting software defects found during automated testing, and collaborating with development teams to ensure their resolution.
Integration with CI/CD pipelines: Integrating automated tests into Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipelines using tools like Jenkins to ensure early detection of issues and faster feedback loops.
Collaborating with development and QA teams: Working closely with developers and other QA engineers to understand requirements, define test strategies, and improve overall software quality.
Improving testing processes: Continuously evaluating and optimizing testing processes, strategies, and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Performing cross-browser and cross-platform testing: Ensuring application compatibility across various browsers, operating systems, and devices through automated testing.
