Quality Engineer (Onsite - Brookings, SD)

Responsibilities

• Characterize and standardize test vessel process performance parameters for process/product understanding
• Aid in product qualifications and test cycle development
• Run experiments to characterize vessel performance and variability, and make recommendations using a risk/benefit approach
• Support vessel trouble shooting, investigation, and analysis to address anomalous product performance

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a science, technology, engineering, or mathematics discipline (completed and verified prior to start)
• One year of quality manufacturing or quality laboratory experience in a private, public, government or military environment
• High School Diploma/GED and five (5) years of quality manufacturing or quality laboratory experience in a private, public, government or military environment
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in an engineering discipline (completed and verified prior to start)
• Experience performing root cause investigations and supporting corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes
• Experience leading teams or managing project-based work, including coordination of tasks, timelines, or deliverables
• Experience working with autoclave sterilization processes
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including quality, manufacturing, engineering, or operations

Pay

The expected compensation range for this position is $85,200 - $117,150, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
