Quality Engineer/Inspector
Location: Louisville, Colorado • Duration: 12 months • Schedule: Mon–Fri, 9 AM–5 PM • Pay rate: $20–25/hr • Employment type: W2 contract (US citizens or Green Card holders only)
About the role
We’re looking for a test engineering professional with end-to-end medical product testing experience. The candidate should have a mix of relevant skills including test management, test method development, verification, validation, and ideally have participated in design and manufacturing activities. They will work with cross-functional development and testing groups to ensure project success by developing test plans and regression analyses, managing test requirements (including traceability), ensuring requirements coverage, and providing integration/system testing and root-cause analysis.
Responsibilities
- Perform efficient and effective testing in conformance with regulations and standards.
- Conduct inspection and analysis of results; determine final disposition of product and detect nonconforming conditions.
- Work within clearly defined SOPs and/or scientific methods; adhere to quality guidelines and comply with regulations and standards.
- Identify basic non-compliance within regulations and standards.
- Maintain appropriate licenses, training, or certifications as needed.
- Use standard measuring equipment including calipers, RAM optic, micrometers, pin gauges, and gage blocks.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities.
- Apply understanding of calibrated equipment and follow equipment maintenance and repair procedures.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in a quality engineering or inspection role.
- BS in an engineering discipline (Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, etc.) preferred.
