Quality Engineer III

About the role

Location: West Caldwell, NJ. Join a leading aerospace and defense electronics manufacturer supporting mission-critical technologies used in space, communications, radar, and defense applications. This role offers the opportunity to work on highly complex products where quality, reliability, and performance are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead investigations into quality issues and drive effective corrective actions
• Partner with engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and customers to improve product quality and reliability
• Support audits, nonconformance management, and quality system compliance activities
• Review technical documentation and ensure products meet customer and regulatory requirements
• Analyze quality trends and implement continuous improvement initiatives
• Help drive quality performance across the manufacturing operation

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field
• 4+ years of Quality Engineering experience within aerospace, defense, electronics, or other regulated manufacturing environments
• Experience with AS9100, ISO 9001, MIL-STD requirements, or similar quality standards
• U.S. Person status required due to customer and regulatory requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement experience
• Familiarity with Minitab and statistical analysis tools
• Experience with structured problem-solving methodologies and process improvement techniques
• ASQ Quality Engineer certification preferred

Pay

Base Salary Range: $114,000 - $130,000
