Quality Engineer II - NPD Fabrication

Primary Responsibilities

• Fabricate support for and continuously improve the Sub-Zero/Wolf Quality System.
• Facilitate continuous product and process improvements to exceed customer expectations.
• Provide high quality, innovative, value-added, luxury appliance products and services.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in a STEM field.
• Advanced and thorough working knowledge of quality engineering tools and techniques.
• 4-6 years of experience in a manufacturing, quality, or design engineering function with progressing responsibilities.

Required Qualifications

• 4-year degree in a STEM field.
• Advanced and thorough working knowledge of quality engineering tools and techniques for systems improvement and problem solving.
• 4-6 years of experience in a manufacturing, quality, or design engineering function with progressing responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Mechanical or Industrial Engineering degree.
• 4+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of and experience applying statistical methodologies in a manufacturing environment.
• Project management with budgeting responsibilities.
• Ability to use advanced dimensional measurement & data collection tools and systems.
• Ability to read and knowledge of how to inspect GD&T - Flatness, Parallelism, Perpendicularity, Surface Profile, True Position.
• Ability to use Solidworks to interrogate prints and assemblies as well as ability to design parts and assemblies used to inspect/check parts.
• American Society for Quality - Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), or other certification.
