Description
Planning, developing, coordinating, and managing onsite construction engineering activities for large, extensive construction projects. Technical support includes participation in construction planning and design, interpretation of design, application of construction methods, resolution and documentation of design conflicts, constructability reviews, and shop drawing processing.
Responsibilities
- Ensure project engineering activities comply with company and contract requirements and support overall construction schedule.
- Provide technical support for construction effort including participation in construction planning and design; interpretation of design; application of construction methods; resolution and documentation of design conflicts; constructability reviews, and shop drawing processing.
- Develop, implement and administer project engineering procedures and other work controlling documents.
- Manage project engineering and related personnel functions and activities, including subcontractor planning and administration, and work assignments.
- Interface all on-site departments as required to resolve problems, ensure quality of construction in support of overall project schedules.
- Represent company, project and/or department during A/E, client and project management meetings.
- Key technical person on projects. May be responsible for one or more small to medium sized projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent related experience.
- 3+ years of electrical construction engineering experience.
- Advanced knowledge of electrical construction codes, standards, etc.
- Communication and organizational skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Techical knowledge, encompassing construction and engineering processes, procurement, project controls reporting, and contract management.
- Proficiency in budget management, financial forecasting, and resource allocation.
- Experience in identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments and adapt to changing project requirements.
Pay
$50.00 - $75.00 + OT + Per Diem
Schedule
Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, Paid Holidays, Accrued PTO, 40k with company match after 90 days.
