We are a manufacturing company looking to hire a Quality Engineer to join our growing team!
Job Details
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Quality Engineer position should possess the following qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality engineering role within the engineering industry.
- Demonstrated expertise in AS9100, ISO 9001, FAA regulations, and other industry standards.
- Proficiency in using Zeiss systems and optical comparators for quality control.
- Strong experience in conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- A continuous improvement mindset, with a commitment to enhancing quality and efficiency in all aspects of work.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring that our engineering processes comply with AS9100, ISO 9001, and FAA regulations.
- Conducting thorough root cause analysis to identify issues affecting product quality.
- Implementing effective corrective actions to prevent recurrence of product defects.
- Utilizing Zeiss systems and optical comparators to inspect and validate product quality.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are met across all stages of product development.
- Developing and maintaining quality documentation, including process maps, quality plans, and inspection reports.
- Providing technical guidance and training to team members on quality-related matters.
Qualifications
