Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

Supports the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of quality systems and inspection processes across manufacturing operations, ensuring compliance with internal standards, customer requirements, and applicable regulatory frameworks.

Contributes to product quality, process reliability, and operational consistency by analyzing data, resolving quality issues, supporting audits, and collaborating cross-functionally to uphold quality expectations across the production lifecycle.

Requirements

• Contributes to product quality, process reliability, and operational consistency by analyzing data, resolving quality issues, supporting audits, and collaborating cross-functionally to uphold quality expectations across the production lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or other Technical Field with at least four (4) years Quality experience in regulated industries such as Nuclear, Aerospace, or Medical (equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered).
• Experience with Quality industry standards (ISO9001:2015, AS9100D, ISO/IEC 17025, NQA-1, 10CFR50 Appendix B, ISO 19443, ASME Section III, ISO 80079-34, etc.).
• Able to plan, control, and assure product and process quality in accordance with quality principles, which include planning processes, material control, acceptance sampling, and measurement systems.
• Experience with investigating quality issues in a methodical manner ultimately resulting in a report that identifies containment, root cause, and corrective and preventative actions.
• Basic knowledge of reliability, maintainability, and risk management, including key terms and definitions, modeling, systems design, assessment tools, and reporting.
• Excellent technical writing, oral communication, and presentation skills for reporting and briefing Customers and Senior Leadership.
• Able to work effectively in a team environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

$83,000 – 111,800 annually
