Summary Of Responsibilities
- Overtake root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process/product related concerns
- Enhance the Quality System with continuous improvement activities, such as 5S, Kaizen, and lean methods
- Develop, implement, and participate in training to build/improve quality awareness among new and existing employees
- Coach, mentor, and support a team of Quality Inspectors
- Analyze failure and preventative actions to ensure a timely resolution to all customer concerns/complaints
- Plan, organize, and maintain quality documentation
- Manage suppliers’ performance and conduct internal/external audits
- Evaluate and examine the company’s product specifications to equal customer requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- 3 years of supervisory or related work experience in a manufacturing/production environment
- Post-secondary education or equivalent
- Ability to retain information and communicate effectively, both written and oral
- Able to stand for long periods of time/lift 23 kg (50 lbs)
- Able to work independently and in a team environment
- Able to work 3-shift model: Midnights, Days, Afternoons, and required OT
Preferred Qualifications
- 5 years of supervisory or related work experience in a manufacturing/production environment
- Experience with computerized living documents (PFMEA, Control Plan, PPAP)

About the Role
Cannon Automotive Solutions, a division of Cleveland-Cliffs Tooling and Stamping, has an immediate opportunity for a Quality Engineer in our Bowling Green, Kentucky Stamping Facility.
Pay
The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 annually.
Schedule
The schedule for this position is 3 shifts: Midnights, Days, and Afternoons, with required overtime.
