Quality Coordinator, Laboratory Services
Overview
Sentara Health is hiring an experienced Laboratory Quality Coordinator to work full time days in the Quality Management Department. This position is based in Hampton, VA, but will require travel to the following cities: Charlottesville, VA, Harrisonburg, VA, Woodbridge, VA, and South Boston, VA.
About the role
The Laboratory Quality Coordinator is responsible for managing processes to support ongoing compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards system-wide. Interfaces and collaborates with leadership, medical, and laboratory staff to establish and implement continuing compliance and survey readiness and to meet accreditation and compliance goals. Researches and clarifies standard compliance requirements while keeping leadership informed on progress.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (required)
- ASCP or AMT certification (required)
- 3 years laboratory
- 3 years laboratory quality improvement
- 3 years laboratory regulatory/compliance
- 3 years laboratory safety
- 3 years laboratory accreditation and regulatory
