Responsibilities
- Performs daily quality assurance inspections of welded products
- Examine all shelters, skids, and containers as needed
- Verify fit up and layout of products meet drawings specifications
- Complete NDT [Magnetic Particle] inspections of lifting lugs and visual inspection of all welds
- Document product deficiencies and follow-up with production to ensure they are corrected
- Affix with all welding and fitter tests
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Work Experience: 1+ year experience in a metal fabrication or inspection related job
- Education: High School Diploma/GED, Tech or Trade School completion preferred
- Related Experience: NDT Level II VT and MT and/or CWI certification
- Good understanding of welding standards such as AWS D1.1
- Attention to detail
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks; keep up in a fast-paced environment
- Training in Welding Technology
- Knowledge and experience with manufacturing inspection process
- Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
