Quality Control Technician/Manager

About the role

The Quality Control Technician/Manager (QCM) is responsible for implementing and overseeing a quality control program on construction sites, including concrete and heavy highway work.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage a quality control program
• Supervise inspectors to ensure adherence to quality standards
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards
• Document and analyze quality control data
• Collaborate with project teams to resolve quality issues
• Train and mentor junior staff members

Requirements

• At least 5 years of QC background in construction, preferably in fields such as field inspection, construction phase experience, or QC professional roles
• Substitutions allowed: 4 years of college (Bachelors in CE, CE Tech, Construction Management, or Construction Engineering) or 2 years of college (Associates in related field)
• NICET, NETTCP, ACI certification preferred
• Documented training in QC principles

Qualifications

• Experience in QC programs and supervision of inspectors
• Knowledge of relevant construction phases and regulatory requirements
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay

Salary range: $50,000 - $75,000 annually
