About the role
We have an opportunity for a Quality Control Technician I to join our team. In this role, you will work under close supervision to perform tasks following detailed instructions and established procedures. You will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, corporate policies, good manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures. This position requires a self-motivated and detail-oriented individual who can work independently and support team members as needed.
Responsibilities
- Receive, count, sort, label, and organize samples by lot, condition, and orientation for stability study setups and pulls
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external customers to ensure efficient sample flow
- Assist with sample set downs, staging, pulling, and movements; perform second person verification of staged or pulled samples
- May obtain Drug Enforcement Administration clearance and participate in controlled substance inventory verification
- Perform labware cleaning, including receipt, organization, loading and unloading of glassware washers, and inspection for chips or cracks
- Maintain high-quality documentation in accordance with regulatory guidance and site standard operating procedures
- Execute procedures or methods with accuracy and review own work to ensure completeness; identify minor quality or compliance gaps during routine work
- All other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent with zero (0) years of experience
- Mathematical and scientific reasoning ability with capacity to learn and retain technical information
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with internal customers, team members, and management
- Individual may be required to sit, stand, walk regularly and occasionally lift, pull or push 0-40 pounds

Monday – Friday, 1st Shift: 8AM-4:30PM
