Quality Control Technician - GSE
Role Purpose
Responsible for directing daily workflow, reviewing completed work orders, and inspecting Mechanics work. Assists in instructing mechanics on work procedures. Inspecting and identifying defective or broken parts on vehicles as well as make repairs to gas/diesel engines, hydraulic, electrical, fueling and mechanical systems and preforms preventive maintenance and/or repairs.
What You Will Be Doing
- Maintains a safe and secure work environment, in accordance with local health, safety, and security policies and procedures.
- Hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical reports and preventative maintenance of equipment at fuel storage facilities/systems
- Maintains storage tanks and related equipment to ensure they are in good working order to prevent spills, releases, overfills and product contamination.
- Makes required log entries, QC, maintenance and completes required documentation and performs data entry.
- Inspects and identifies defective or broken parts on vehicles as well as makes repairs to gas/diesel engines, hydraulic, electrical, fueling and mechanical systems.
- Performs monthly, quarterly, and annual quality control checks on the refueling equipment.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Must Have
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or twelve (12) months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must possess and maintain a valid US driver’s license.
- Must pass all pre-employment testing including a physical, color vision test, audio test, and drug test.
- Handle fueling carts and fueling hoses which will require lifting and move up to 70lbs.
- Must pass background check and obtain US Customs seal.
- Prior experience preferred including possession of a Commercial Driver’s License or experience in the Oil and Gas Industry (preferred).
