Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for the calibration of all manufacturing tools and equipment and maintaining calibration program.
- Involved in ensuring that all units meet build and quality requirements.
- Utilizes Record 360 system in all areas applicable.
- Inspects product upon receipt, throughout manufacturing process, and upon completion.
- Maintains a good working relationship with Operations, Sales, Manufacturing, and Procurement to identify and effectively resolve issues.
- Responsible for ensuring cleanliness of applicable areas and safety consciousness.
- Responsible for engaging and assisting on resolving issues.
- Absorb and improve quality processes and procedures to meet quality standards and reliability of products manufactured.
- Perform inspections and audits on purchased, manufactured and assembled products.
Required Skills And Qualifications
- Possess associate degree or applicable job experience.
- 3-5 years of quality control experience in a Production environment.
- Must have prior knowledge of production, testing, assembly and manufacturing.
- Able to identify and resolve quality related issues.
Preferred Skills And Qualifications
- High level quality inspection program aptitude and experience.
- Knowledge of good workmanship as it applies to the manufacturing of fiberglass products.
- General aptitude in working with common computer software (MS Office Suite, internet, RT.NET).
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to work in cold and hot weather conditions some part of the time.
- Be able to grip, pull and push heavy objects; perform routine lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Walking, climbing, crouching, standing, and sitting are required; ability to work with hands.
