QUALITY CONTROL TECHNICIAN

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for the calibration of all manufacturing tools and equipment and maintaining calibration program.
• Involved in ensuring that all units meet build and quality requirements.
• Utilizes Record 360 system in all areas applicable.
• Inspects product upon receipt, throughout manufacturing process, and upon completion.
• Maintains a good working relationship with Operations, Sales, Manufacturing, and Procurement to identify and effectively resolve issues.
• Responsible for ensuring cleanliness of applicable areas and safety consciousness.
• Responsible for engaging and assisting on resolving issues.
• Absorb and improve quality processes and procedures to meet quality standards and reliability of products manufactured.
• Perform inspections and audits on purchased, manufactured and assembled products.

Required Skills And Qualifications

• Possess associate degree or applicable job experience.
• 3-5 years of quality control experience in a Production environment.
• Must have prior knowledge of production, testing, assembly and manufacturing.
• Able to identify and resolve quality related issues.

Preferred Skills And Qualifications

• High level quality inspection program aptitude and experience.
• Knowledge of good workmanship as it applies to the manufacturing of fiberglass products.
• General aptitude in working with common computer software (MS Office Suite, internet, RT.NET).

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to work in cold and hot weather conditions some part of the time.
• Be able to grip, pull and push heavy objects; perform routine lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Walking, climbing, crouching, standing, and sitting are required; ability to work with hands.
