Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for overall quality control (QC) of the project.
- Aid in implementing the Project QA/QC Program and monitor for compliance.
- Review and comprehend contract specifications, scope of work, and exclusions outlined in the contract and related industry standards.
- Conduct inspections of workmanship and materials.
- Administer the overall quality and assurance program.
- Handle all quality assurance and control matters for the Company.
- File reports and photo documentation.
- Attend contractor QA/QC meetings and monitor issues and concerns noted in the meeting minutes.
- Operate with 100% integrity and professionalism.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
- One to three years of heavy civil construction experience, preferably in dam, reservoir, landfill, wastewater treatment plants required.
- Experience and knowledge of Army Corps of Engineers projects preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Superior analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Organizational and planning skills.
- Strong oral, consultative, and written communication skills.
- Ability to interface effectively with all levels of management.
- Ability to establish trust and interface effectively with Owners and Customers.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform the essential job functions consistently safely and successfully with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to talk, listen, and speak clearly on the telephone.
