About the role
Cold Spring Brewing is a leading contract beverage manufacturer with facilities across the Southeast, Southwest, and Midwest. This Quality Control Lab Technician position ensures consistent product quality through daily testing and audits.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily testing on energy drinks, including carbonation, brix, weight of cans, and tasting for conformity.
- Ensure all products meet customer specifications by inspecting cans for defects and verifying codes.
- Monitor pasteurization temperatures and document results.
- Generate COA and Micro reports and troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Conduct microbiological and surface tests to maintain hygiene standards.
- Record and enter data into the CSBC Quality Control Database.
- Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices and adhere to quality production guidelines.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Regular use of computers, writing, and filing records.
- Experience with SAP or other inventory management systems preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology or Chemistry preferred.
- 1-3 years’ experience in a Quality environment or manufacturing environment.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with GMP and/or HACCP regulations.
- Good reasoning and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and utilize time efficiently.
Skills
- Proficiency in HPLC analysis and Titratable Acidity.
- Familiarity with sterile techniques and filtration methods.
- Ability to perform microbiological and surface testing.

Pay
$21.00 - $23.00 per hour, plus a $2.00 night shift differential if applicable.
Schedule
2-2-3 rotating shifts (15 days per month), 12-hour shifts (6a-6p or 6p-6a).
