Quality Control Technician

About the role

The Quality Laboratory Technician position is available for night shifts (6pm-6am) with a rotating schedule including weekends. The position follows a 2-2-3 work schedule and offers higher pay.

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples and perform liquid analytical testing to ensure finished product meets customer standards and specifications.
• Perform line checks to verify product and packaging meet specifications.
• Inspect line equipment at scheduled intervals.
• Organize and collect production documentation from other departments.
• Conduct food safety checks before filling finished products.
• Collect and test customer and internal retain samples.
• Identify and segregate out-of-specification products.
• Maintain accurate and complete documentation of all finished product and equipment testing.
• Confirm production material and equipment setup for new production runs.
• Receive and test CO2 deliveries.
• Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.
• Attend daily production huddles.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a similar laboratory setting preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Basic knowledge of laboratory equipment and procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
