Quality Control Technician (3rd Shift)

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate CMM machine, Laser Microscope, roughness and thickness handheld gauges and others
  • QC related tools and equipment
  • Generate measurements and QC reports
  • Responsible for equipment PM and maintenance
  • Able to write computer script for the automated equipment is a plus
  • Generate and provide SPC charts

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

  • High School graduated with Quality control experience
  • Logical with Good analytical skills
  • Proficient in using office software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Interaction With Other Employees

  • Regularly communicate with the Production, Lab Manager and teammates on daily assignments and reports any discrepancies or relevant production related information
  • Works frequently with Engineering Director to improve quality and processes

Pay

$23 - $28

Schedule

This job equally operates in a production and professional office environment. The environment will include wet or humid conditions (non-weather related), extreme cold and heat (non-weather related), working near moving mechanical parts or equipment. Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Regularly lifting and/or moving up to 30 pounds. Physical requirements further include the ability to engage in productive and collaborative communication and may need to be performed during non-standard hours, including nights, weekends and possibly holidays.
