Quality Control Team Member
About the role
The QC Team member will be under general supervision to perform QC tests as required by following sampling instructions to evaluate products in various stages of completion. The QC team member helps perform investigations/analysis of problems, and assists with implementing countermeasures, while minimizing impacts to production. Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by employing 5S principles. The role operates within defined corporate policies and procedures and exercises judgment appropriate to its level of responsibility. The position may influence decisions related to functional operations, processes, or recommendations and escalate matters as required. Supervisory responsibilities: none.
Responsibilities
- Perform product inspections and quality testing
- Collect samples according to work instructions
- Record inspection and test results accurately
- Assist with root cause investigations and corrective actions
- Monitor compliance with quality standards and procedures
- Support continuous improvement and 5S activities
- Report nonconforming materials and products
- Maintain quality records and documentation
Qualifications
Required: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Preferred: 1-3 years of mechanical inspection experience; automotive manufacturing experience; good understanding of how production equipment works; ability to detect potential problems with machinery; knowledge of basic safety rules and precautionary measures.

Schedule
Shift: Must be able to work 1st and 2nd shift.
Working conditions: 100% on production floor; extensive walking and standing on the production line/floor; flexibility to work weekends and holidays; team‑based working environment; required to always wear PPE correctly.
