Quality Control Supervisor

Snowline Engineering is a state-of-the-art precision machining facility located in the beautiful foothills of the Sierra Nevada just 20 minutes outside of Sacramento. Our company's objective is to provide our customers with diversity in precision machining, precision sheet metal, light to medium fabrication, and turnkey assemblies.
We have been in business since 1966 and have a very diverse customer base including customers from the Aerospace, Robotics, Medical and Train industries.
Our 80,000 square foot facility features the most state of the art equipment in the industry.

Responsibilities
- Supervise staff in Quality Assurance
- Problem solve questions/issues that arise
- Prioritize jobs for staff/ allocate staff as needed
- Inspect parts as time allows
- Maintain paperwork and logs as needed
- Purchase necessary tools for Quality Assurance department
- Create debit memos for vendor returns
- Create RMAs for customer returns
- Works with customers and vendors on quality issues
- Work with all departments to meet Quality Assurance needs
- Work with manufacturing for any re-work needed
- Trains employees in the Quality Assurance department
- Other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
- A high school diploma/GED
- A B/A in a related field or equivalent accumulation of experience and education
- 8-10 years of GD&T and supervisory experience
- Familiarity with the following equipment: CMM, optical comparator, hand measuring tools, surface plate and height gauge
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent math skills
