Summary Leads quality control initiatives across cheese manufacturing operations, ensuring rigorous compliance with regulatory and food safety standards while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence. Duties And Responsibilities Supervise daily quality control operations and resolve quality issues. Lead USDA, FDA, State, and third-party audits and traceability exercises. Serve as Food Safety Team Lead; facilitate meetings and drive initiatives. Manage customer complaints, deviations, and product holds. Manage COPQ (Customer and Plant deviations), including scrap tracking, supplier credits, and cheese sold as process. Maintain and update quality documentation (SSOPs, QWIs, SDS, control points). Approve ECNs, COAs, and manage document systems (IQSoft, JDE, Monroe DB). Conduct internal audits and quarterly glass/brittle/plastic inspections. Track training records and communicate quality updates across departments. Collaborate with production, sanitation, and lab teams to ensure product quality. Represent the quality team in town halls and cross-functional projects. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Required qualifications, skills, and experience for the job; education background, certifications, relevant work experience, technical skills, and soft skills.
