Quality Control Specialist I (Raw Materials)

Location: Irvine, California (on-site, within commuting distance).

About the role

Inspect and test biological raw materials and manufactured intermediates by performing sampling, results review, and visual inspection per established procedures. Complete documentation clearly and accurately. Recognize and investigate out-of-specification or out-of-trend results and report to supervisor. Assist with testing improvements and changes within change management. Enter results into ERP system and Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). Follow good laboratory practices and procedures. Work in a team environment and interface with other departments as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in a life science or related field.
• 0–2 years in a laboratory environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with clinical laboratory techniques and instruments (a plus).
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team to complete projects within required timeframes.
• Good time management, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Experience with Good Manufacturing and Documentation Practices (GMP/GDP).

Pay

Estimated base salary range: $70,310 – $85,300. Actual compensation will be based on geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, and other job-related factors. Eligible for a variable annual bonus dependent on individual and company performance.
