Quality Control Specialist

About the Role

QuaverEd, a rapidly growing education technology company based in Nashville, Tennessee, is seeking a Quality Control Specialist to join our team. Founded in 2009, our mission is to enrich the lives of children by supporting educators in general music, social and emotional learning, and health and physical education. This full-time, exempt position offers a salary range of $44k-$48k and requires working on-site at our Music Row headquarters, with a minimum of 3 days in the office and 2 days remote (subject to change).

Qualifications

• Technical experience with Mac/PC, iPads, and Chrome/Edge/Safari/Firefox browsers
• Knowledge of organizational software/spreadsheets (e.g., Google Sheets, Excel)
• Experience in copyediting or testing is beneficial
• Familiarity with web design or coding is helpful but not required
• Excellent observational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Strong written communication and documentation skills
• Task prioritization and time management for handling multiple projects
• Pattern recognition and an investigative mindset for identifying errors

Responsibilities

• Test website-based software and educational lessons for quality in written content, art design, code functionality, and more
• Document testing processes, report bugs, and write detailed steps to recreate issues
• Manage tasks using project-specific spreadsheets and the Asana project tracking system
• Collaborate with Development, Art, and Content teams to maintain excellence before and during public releases
