About the Role

CRL is looking for a detail-driven Inventory Quality Coordinator to help us keep product quality sharp across every location we serve. This is a hands-on role for someone who likes solving problems, isn't afraid of ambiguity, and enjoys working across teams to get things right the first time. You'll split your time between our warehouse and office environment in Vernon, working closely with Product Management, Technical Sales, Sourcing & Purchasing to resolve quality issues, and manage inventory integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating investigations into customer quality complaints with Technical Managers, Product Management & Supply Chain, & driving root cause analysis through to resolution
  • Identifying, labeling, segregating and tracking defective or suspect product, and managing quarantine records across the Vernon facility and all CRL branches
  • Processing inventory adjustments and coordinating scrap, vendor returns, product replacement & financial recovery
  • Tracking dated/expiring inventory across all CRL Service Centers and coordinating movement, use, or disposal before expiration
  • Inspecting incoming material against engineering drawings, specs, dimensions & color/shading standards, and documenting non-conformance
  • Communicating quality feedback to Supply Chain and suppliers to support ongoing improvement
  • Supporting warehouse optimization and inventory accuracy initiatives
  • Working toward or maintaining forklift/Drexel certification

Qualifications & Skills

  • A self-starter who thrives with a little ambiguity and can track issues to completion
  • In-depth knowledge of CRL product lines and familiarity with warehouse operations
  • Familiarity with SAP for stock locations, transfers and receipts
  • Comfort with basic math (product counts, addition and multiplication)
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse setting
  • Ability to stand or sit at a computer for extended periods
  • Excellent communication & organizational skills
  • A team player who builds strong cross-functional relationships
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Pay

$45,000 USD - $55,000 USD
