Quality Control Specialist

A Day in Your Life at MKS: As a Quality Control Specialist at MKS, you will partner with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Operations, Sales, internal teams, suppliers, and customers, to help ensure quality standards are maintained throughout our processes and shipments. In this role, you will support day-to-day quality activities, production needs, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will report to the Sr. Quality Manager. You Will Make an Impact By: Conducting routine process auditsSupporting MRB disposition activities in collaboration with Buyers, Operations, and Supplier QualitySupporting and maintaining calibration systemsWorking closely with Manufacturing (Tech Ops) to support daily production needsParticipating in Gemba Walks and maintaining Gemba action itemsSupporting quality initiatives and continuous improvement activities across cross-functional teamsTravel Requirements: Up to 15% travel is required Skills You Bring: Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree or equivalent experience2+ years of related experienceKnowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS)Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principlesKnowledge of process audits Physical Demands and Working Conditions: Perform activities such as sitting, standing, or typing for extended periods of timeRegularly requires good manual dexterity and coordinationOccasionally moves/positions objects up to 20 lbs. Ability to remain in a stationary position for 40% of the timeRegularly requires manual dexterity and coordination of objects below, at, and above shoulder levelMust be able to communicate information and ideas so others will understandMust be able to exchange accurate informationOperates in a professional office and/or laboratory/manufacturing environmentConstantly operates a computer and other office productivity machineryAbility to observe documents and details at close range (within a few feet of the observer)Dedication to safety to mitigate hazards, including handling mechanical and electrical hardware, high voltage, gas, water, and heatNoise level in the work environment is usually average This position is onsite, and candidates must live within commutable distance to our locations in Wilmington or Methuen MA. MKS is generally only hiring candidates who reside in states where we are registered to do business. Compensation and Benefits: Salary Pay Range: $88,425 - $125,000 per year. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs, and other considerations permitted by law. Bonus: This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, in an amount to be determined by MKS, as applicable.
