Quality Control Specialist

About the role

Responsible for supporting quality assurance activities including product sampling, inspection, documentation review, and verification of compliance with specifications across various cannabis and food products.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections of finished and in-process products
• Verify labeling and packaging
• Review batch records
• Assist with customer complaints and product investigations
• Ensure adherence to GMP and safety guidelines
• Collaborate with operations to identify quality risks and improvements

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree with relevant experience
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
• Ability to follow procedures
• Experience in regulated industries such as healthcare, pharmaceuticals, food, or cannabis is highly desirable
• Knowledge of industry regulations, state laws, and quality standards is essential
