Quality Control Operator IV

About the role

Join SUSONITY, a leader in the chemical industry, at our Savannah manufacturing site. As a Quality Control Operator, you'll perform daily QC testing for raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods to ensure all products released for sale comply with applicable specifications and quality requirements. This role supports manufacturing processes by providing timely results of in-process and final release testing while maintaining high standards for environmental compliance, safety, and housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily QC tasks for testing and release of raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods.
• Support manufacturing processes by providing timely results of in-process testing and conducting final release testing.
• Maintain all safety and environmental standards for the QC lab.
• Perform duties in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Review analytical data produced and maintain accurate, concise records.
• Enter data into the SAP system to ensure traceability.
• Work cooperatively in a team environment to achieve common goals and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working in analytical chemistry, primarily in a lab setting.
• Strong adherence to laboratory procedures.
• SAP experience preferred.
• Proficiency in computer skills (Excel, Word, Email, and Teams) and basic office skills.
• Ability to work professionally with all levels of the organization.
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a busy environment with shifting priorities.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Ability to work safely in a chemical manufacturing environment.
