We are seeking a meticulous and driven Punch Person / Quality Control Manager to join our team. This position is crucial in ensuring that newly constructed or renovated properties are delivered in top condition. The Punch Person / Quality Control Manager works closely with the Assistant Director of Development to identify, document, and address any issues that could impact the quality, efficiency, or aesthetics of the property.Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive inspections of new or renovated properties to identify issues, defects, and items requiring correction.
- Maintain detailed punch lists and follow up to ensure repairs and touch-ups are completed to the highest standards.
- Work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively without constant oversight.
- Communicate professionally and clearly through email, Outlook, text messages, phone calls, and in-person interactions.
- Document findings with complete and professional written communication.
- Cookordinate with contractors, vendors, and site teams to ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Periodically perform miscellaneous tasks necessary to establish and maintain property readiness, which may include anything from picking up trash and organizing materials to hanging key boxes, installing signage, or completing other minor tasks.
- Safely use basic hand tools and equipment as needed.
- Support the overall success of the property by maintaining a team-first attitude and a willingness to assist wherever needed.
Qualifications
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for even the smallest issues.
- Self-motivated and capable of handling repetitive tasks without constant supervision.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks thoroughly and correctly.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate professionally using email, Outlook, Teams, text messaging, and other digital platforms. Proper grammar and complete written communication are expected.
- Adaptable and receptive to feedback and continuous improvement.
- Comfortable performing a variety of tasks, including those outside of routine inspections.
- Experience using basic hand tools and performing minor installations or repairs.
- Positive attitude and team-first mentality.
