Branch Manager-Construction Materials Testing
About the role
Lead the day-to-day operations of a Construction Materials Testing and Special Inspections branch. Drive business development efforts by expanding existing client relationships and cultivating new opportunities with architects, engineers, developers, contractors, healthcare systems, educational institutions, and public agencies. Manage branch financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, staffing, and overall P&L responsibility. Build, mentor, and develop a team of engineers, project managers, inspectors, technicians, and support staff. Ensure technical excellence, quality control, and compliance across all projects. Work closely with clients to deliver exceptional service while identifying opportunities for long-term partnerships. Help shape strategic growth initiatives for the branch and surrounding market.
Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day operations of a Construction Materials Testing and Special Inspections branch.

Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Construction Materials Testing (CMT), Geotechnical Engineering, Special Inspections, or a related engineering field.
- Proven leadership experience managing teams and branch or business operations.
- Strong background in business development and client relationship management.
- Experience managing budgets, staffing, and financial performance.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred (multi-state licensure is a plus).
