About the role

We are seeking a Quality Control Laboratory Supervisor to lead a team of technicians and engineers who ensure our laboratory instruments operate efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience, along with strong leadership and technical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and direct the daily activities of the Quality Control Instrument and Service Technicians/Engineers
  • Serve as the technical go-to for instrument use and functionality across various laboratory instruments
  • Review and approve completed work within the Quality Control Instrument Lab, ensuring compliance with regulatory, safety, and quality standards
  • Train, coach, and evaluate direct reports, focusing on skill development and competency verification
  • Establish and maintain departmental protocols, and lead process-improvement initiatives to enhance lab efficiency
  • Partner with the Quality Control Manager to align department goals with broader organizational objectives
  • Participate in recruiting and onboarding new team members

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or an Associate's degree with applicable hands-on experience
  • Experience working in an ISO/FDA-regulated environment
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and a history of reliability
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
