Perform routine laboratory testing of raw materials, bulk products, and finished goods to support manufacturing operations and product release while ensuring compliance with established specifications and cGMP requirements.
Conduct analytical testing using laboratory instrumentation including HPLC, GC, UV-VIS, ICP, AA, and FTIR, while maintaining accurate documentation and data integrity.
Support stability testing programs by performing scheduled analyses, completing required documentation, and ensuring testing is conducted within established timelines.
Maintain laboratory equipment, chemicals, reagents, records, and logbooks to ensure a safe, organized, and inspection-ready laboratory environment.
Follow laboratory safety, quality, and regulatory procedures while prioritizing testing activities, managing laboratory waste, and working independently to meet production and business needs.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine analytical testing of raw materials, bulk products, and finished goods to support manufacturing, product release, and shipping requirements while ensuring compliance with established specifications and cGMP standards.
- Accurately document test results and ensure proper disposition of materials and products in accordance with laboratory procedures and quality standards.
- Conduct stability testing programs, complete required documentation, and ensure testing is performed within designated timelines.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation including UV-VIS, HPLC, GC, ICP, AA, and FTIR systems.
- Manage laboratory chemicals and reagents by maintaining inventories, securing SDS/MSDS documentation, monitoring expiration dates, and disposing of obsolete materials appropriately.
- Ensure proper handling and disposal of laboratory waste while maintaining compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, documentation, logbooks, and workspaces in an organized, clean, and inspection-ready condition while prioritizing testing activities and working independently with minimal supervision.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline required.
- 0–3 years of experience in a cGMP-regulated laboratory environment; academic laboratory experience may be considered in lieu of industry experience.
- Working knowledge of laboratory safety practices and adherence to quality and regulatory standards.
- Strong computer skills with the ability to accurately enter, maintain, and manage laboratory data and documentation.
- Demonstrated attention to detail with excellent record-keeping, organization, and documentation skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, work independently, and support a fast-paced laboratory environment.
- Flexibility to work overtime and adjust schedules as needed to support production, testing, and business requirements.
