Quality Control Intern- Summer 2026

About the role
Seneca Foods Corporation is currently accepting applications for a summer 2026 internship in the Quality Department at our Glencoe, MN facility. This internship offers hands-on experience in quality control within a leading food processing company.
Responsibilities
- Follow established policies and procedures for quality control.
- Test and evaluate products at different stages of the production process to ensure quality and consistency.
Qualifications
No prior experience is necessary. Food Science students are encouraged to apply.
Preferred Skills
- Good communication skills.
- Basic computer and mathematical skills.
- Working knowledge of basic measuring devices and machines.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Ability to work extended hours during peak season.
- Ability to work weekends when needed.
Schedule
There will be opportunities for overtime and time off to accommodate school and personal commitments. The internship occurs during the Pack season, offering numerous learning opportunities.
Pay
Starting wage is $18.54 per hour, based on skills, abilities, and experience.
