Responsibilities
- Inspect finished products, products being processed, incoming materials, parts, and assemblies for conformance to company standards.
- Check randomly selected samples and verify accuracy of equipment or processes.
- Report conditions requiring immediate repair.
- Use advanced inspection methods to develop and conduct quality programs.
- Keep records and make reports indicating results of inspections.
- Use experience and judgment for planning and accomplishing goals.
- Inspect work areas to detect unsafe conditions.
- Obtain samples for laboratory analysis and determine measures to remedy deviations from standards.
- Conduct Product and Process audits and Layered Process Audits (LPA).
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience in quality and/or inventory.
- Previous experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Previous experience with Oracle, SAP, or other database management systems.
Skills
- Strong and accurate data entry skills.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft tools (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Excellent organization and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
- Manufacturing environment.
- Regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
- Requires walking, standing, bending, and lifting for long periods.
- Vision abilities required to validate and enter data on a computer.
