Location: Covington, GA • Duration: 12 months • Hours: 40/week • Pay rate: $20–30/hr
Client: Medical Device Company • Employment Type: Contract on W2 (US Citizens or Green-Card holders only)
Schedule
- 1st shift: approximately 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM with overtime before or after
- 2nd shift: approximately 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM with overtime before or after
- Must be open to overtime, including Saturdays
- Must be flexible with shift times
About the role
Responsible for the efficient and effective performance of testing in conformance with regulations and standards.
Responsibilities
- Inspection and analysis of results
- Determining final disposition of some product
- Detecting nonconforming conditions
- Working within clearly defined SOPs and/or scientific methods
- Adhering to quality guidelines and complying with regulations and standards
- Identifying basic non-compliance within regulations and standards
- Maintaining appropriate licenses, training, or certifications as needed
Requirements
- One to two years of experience
- Proven ability to correctly interpret drawings and geometric dimensions and tolerances
- Able to use standard measuring equipment including calipers, RAM optic, micrometers, pin gauges, and gage blocks
- Previous experience participating in continuous improvement activities
- Demonstrated understanding in the use of calibrated equipment and ability to follow equipment maintenance and repair procedures
