Quality Control Inspector and Administrator
About the role
The successful candidate will support Creare’s ISO9001/AS9100 Quality Management System in several key roles related to our aerospace manufacturing activities in mechanical systems and electronics.
Responsibilities
- Support quality control inspection (QCI) of incoming product from vendors, including detailed review of associated documentation and high-level visual and mechanical inspection of goods received.
- Follow strict quality control procedures and collaborate with senior staff to continuously improve those procedures.
- Utilize electronic business systems (e.g., Costpoint ERP, Access databases and intranet tools) to facilitate and document your work.
- Ensure that all quality-related requirements specified in Purchase Orders are being met by the received product.
- May include more detailed mechanical and electrical inspection duties consistent with the abilities and interests of the candidate.
Requirements
- A minimum of a high school degree is required.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience working in an environment with an ISO9001 or AS9100 level quality management system is also required.
- Computer skills specifically with regard to databases, at the user level, and with basic data manipulation using tools such as Excel are required.
Qualifications
A minimum of a high school degree is required in this position but preferably an Associate’s degree or equivalent from an accredited two-year college/technical school or combination of education and experience.

Detail-oriented, organized, and thorough to ensure all quality-related requirements are met.
