About the Role

Plans and directs activities concerned with development, application, and maintenance of quality standards for industrial processes, materials, and products. Tests and inspects products at various stages of the production process and compiles and evaluates statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality control final inspection support, and shipping/receiving inspection support.
• Accurately interpret engineering drawings, customer specifications, company specifications, sampling procedures, designs, forms, and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data.
• Utilize precision tools and equipment with accuracy for testing and measurement of product.
• Recommends modifications of existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Basic computer proficiency, including email, word processing software, creating and maintaining spreadsheets in MS Excel, and navigating operating systems.
• Associate degree in an aviation-related field preferred.
• At least 1 year of relevant aviation work experience.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in basic dimensional/visual inspection on aviation-related equipment (airframe, powerplant, and/or avionic).
• Certify visual acuity to NAS-410.
• Airframe and Powerplant FAA certifications preferred.
• This position may require work hours outside of the regularly scheduled hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet operational needs.
• Due to government regulation, only US persons (U.S. citizen, U.S. naturalized citizen, U.S. permanent resident, holder of U.S. approved political asylee or refugee status) may be considered for this role.
