Typical Day
- Verifying procured materials, sub-assemblies, finished products, and processes to ensure they meet established quality standards.
- Performing visual inspections, dimensional measurements, and electrical testing for product conformance.
- Utilizing inspection tools such as Vision Systems, Verniers, Micrometers, Rulers, Oscilloscopes, DVMs, Power Supplies, Defib/Pacer Analyzers, and custom fixtures.
- Documenting inspection and test results according to established procedures.
- Maintaining quality documentation files, including Device History Records (DHR) and Inspection History Records.
- Processing returned material in accordance with company procedures.
- Reading and interpreting documentation such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), schematics, technical drawings, PDAs, and ECOs.
- Collaborating with various functions and departments as required.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent (required).
- 1-3 years of experience in a related quality control or inspection role (required).
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Familiarity with the use of mechanical and electronic test equipment.
- Basic computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office; Oracle and MES experience preferred.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a manufacturing environment.
- IPC-A-610D certification for Incoming Inspection is preferred but not required.
