Quality Control Coordinator

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Participate in the preparation of Project Quality Management System documents.
• Ensure quality documentation and required records for the Project are accurate and up to date.
• Aid in field verification activities for materials and works performed using the company’s tracking software.
• Affirm quality requirements are implemented by subcontractors.
• Compile comprehensive reports detailing quality performance, highlighting trends, and suggesting corrective actions and lessons learned.
• Collaborate in the digitization of quality records.
• Conduct training activities on the quality management system for the project team.
• Participate in audits carried out on the Project Quality Management System.
• Oversee and perform site inspections and enforcement of standards.
• Maintain an active role in providing relevant information to continually improve procedures, Work Plans, and QC efforts.
• Perform off-site quality inspections at the Owners/suppliers/manufacturer’s yard/shop as needed.
• Participate in the analysis of corrective and preventive actions and, in general, identify and record any incidents related to the Quality Plans and Quality Procedures.
• Report quality issues associated with the construction and track deficiencies/non-conformances.

Qualifications

• At a minimum, a bachelor’s degree in a related field of study along with 3+ years of related quality experience, or a high school diploma, or equivalent, along with 7+ years of related quality experience.
• A valid and current driver’s license.
• Experience working with Design-Build projects and/or the construction industry is preferred.
• Knowledge and experience in the implementation of the ISO 9001 standard on Quality Management System is required.
• Experience in implementing quality management and quality control digital tools will be valued.
