Quality Control Associate Evergreen
Job Profile Summary
Responsible for the quality of processes and product outputs. Activities include: defining and specifying activities, processes, and standards to fulfill the quality requirements for a service or manufactured material, component, or product; auditing, monitoring, and determining the quality of processes or outputs, either against defined internal and/or regulatory standards; product integrity testing, coloring, fitting and pattern and wet processing to ensure orders are in compliance with corporate/customers' quality requirements; reporting on process deviations and defects.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical, customer relations, and personnel management for major programs and projects.
- Check produce in slots on a daily basis to make sure the product set up for shipping meets acceptable standards.
- Communicate regularly with necessary parties on the company's status regarding product quality.
- Communicate with Inventory Control Manager or Compliance Manager and buyers about quality issues and assist in resolving them to ensure customers receive the highest quality products possible.
- Monitor variance reports for accurate accounting of spoilage, warehouse damage, truck damage, etc.
- Inspect inbound freight, warehoused product, and/or outbound product and document product condition.
- Analyze, identify, and propose solutions to problems associated with Quality Assurance.
- Observe all safety rules, regulations, and sanitation policies.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Experience: Prior warehouse, inventory control or merchandising experience.
- Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, effective written/oral communication skills, strong analytical skills.
