Quality Control Analyst (Chemistry)
About the role
This role involves performing routine testing using HPLC and UPLC. It includes responsibilities such as gathering data, reviewing test results, calibrating instruments, and writing control test procedures and SOPs.
Responsibilities
- Gathers data and documents test results.
- Reviews test results to ensure compliance with standards; reports any quality anomalies.
- Complies with all pertinent regulatory agency requirements.
- Conducts testing on raw materials, in-process, product, stability, and/or research samples.
- Writes and revises control test procedures and SOPs.
- Completes test records and reviews data.
- Calibrates or verifies calibration of instruments/devices prior to use.
- May devise or develop new analytical methods and techniques.
- May assist in validation of methods.
Requirements
- BS/BA in Chemistry, Biochemistry or related scientific field, and 2+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with High Performance Liquid Chromatography UV-Vis Spectrophotometer and Analytical Chemistry techniques.
- Able to work in a team environment and communicate effectively to accomplish shared goals.
- Develop and drive scientific and/or business-related improvement ideas.
Qualifications
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, can prioritize and balance multiple tasks, and execute them independently.
- Have a basic understanding of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Have experience with High Performance Liquid Chromatography UV-Vis Spectrophotometer and Analytical Chemistry techniques.
- Able to work in a team environment and communicate effectively to accomplish shared goals.
- Develop and drive scientific and/or business-related improvement ideas.
Skills

Pay
Salary Range (hourly): $24.76 - $38.70
