Responsibilities

  • Cook up day-to-day quality and compliance activities to keep records tidy, tasks on time, and operations smooth.
  • Take over for a team member on leave by getting up to speed on current processes, and make sure everything keeps running smoothly.
  • Keep things neat and tidy by organizing documents, tracking unfinished tasks, and writing down important info so others don’t have to ask repeatedly.
  • Work closely with different departments to make sure all the rules about selling yeast stuff are being followed correctly.
  • Help out with general office tasks like keeping schedules straight, giving regular updates, and making sure everyone knows what they need to do next.
  • Look for ways to make things better by suggesting changes that will make processes smoother and more efficient.
  • Use tech tools to keep track of records, reports, and how things move along in a mixed work setup.
  • Be the go-to person for compliance questions, handling problems when they come up and helping everyone stay on the right path.
  • Have some experience with compliance, quality, or similar regulated fields, especially if you've worked with wine before.
  • Be good at putting details in order, keeping track of lots of things, and communicating well with people from different parts of the company.
  • Be ready to work in a mix of home and office settings in Petaluma, California.

Requirements

  • Experience in compliance, quality assurance, or a related regulated field, particularly if you've worked with wine regulations.
  • Able to document details carefully, keep things organized, and handle multiple tasks without getting confused.
  • Good at supporting other people's work and helping them figure things out, even when it means changing how things are done.
  • Comfortable using new technology and learning systems quickly to manage data, documents, and reports.
  • Ready to take charge and find ways to make processes better, even if it means making small changes.
  • Good at talking to people from different parts of the company and working together to solve problems.
