About the role

The Quality Compliance Manager will ensure the ISO 9001:2015 certified quality management system is established, documented, implemented, trained, and maintained across all branches. The role involves promoting awareness and training of quality policies, procedures, and customer requirements, reporting on quality system performance, and ensuring final products meet customer needs.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure processes for the ISO 9001:2015 certified quality management system are established, documented, implemented, trained, and maintained.
  • Promote awareness and training of quality policies, procedures, and customer requirements within the organization.
  • Report to senior leaders on the performance of the quality management system and any need for concerns and improvements.
  • Work with customers and vendors to ensure final products meet their needs and requirements, research quality issues, and develop remedies.
  • Establish, document, and maintain quality forms, logs, and records for all branches and ensure quality inspections meet or exceed customer specifications.
  • Prepare and revise QMS documents, prepare, document, and maintain certification/registrar audits and internal audit systems.
  • Update, streamline, and review company processes and procedures, maintain and investigate RGA (return goods authorizations), monitor internal customer credits, maintain document control system, correct non-conformances, and maintain compliance records.
  • Report to senior leaders on quality issues, summarize CARs, RGAs, credits, and NCRs, investigate and resolve quality issues with materials and/or products, maintain quality management documents, training records, and company records of compliance, oversee and maintain records of lab samples, and liaise with Narragansett Bay Commission for wastewater treatment system compliance.
  • Manage and maintain records of compliance for multiple business requirements, and oversee and maintain records of lab samples and compliance reporting to Narragansett Bay Commission for our Wastewater Treatment system.

Qualifications and Work Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of 2-3 years experience in Quality Assurance and ISO 9001 standards.
  • Minimum of 2 years in a management position in Quality.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Training skills.
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to travel to each branch to ensure QMS.

Preferred Skills

  • Understanding of computer systems.
  • Project Management.
  • Auditing Certification.
  • Ability to deal with multi-levels of our teams.
