Quality Auditor Day shift

About the role

Nefab Group is on a growth journey, and we are dependent on high-performance people to succeed. Our Quality organization is vital for us to deliver a product that meets or exceeds established standards or customer expectations. We are now looking for a Quality Auditor to join our team in Nefab McMinnville.

Responsibilities

• Resolve quality issues during production runs
• Review First Article dimensions and complete a first part approval per standard procedure on all start up jobs
• Inspect last tagged part in containers delivered to final audit per standard procedure
• Report any problems or discrepancies to the shift supervisor immediately
• Report any un-resolved problems or discrepancies to the Plant Manager and Quality Lead immediately
• Enter a non-conformance for any defective or mislabeled product
• Place a hold tag on each container and arrange for the defective product to be moved to the Quality Hold area for disposition
• Contribute to plant quality and quality processes
• Assist with the training program for new Quality personnel
• Assist in the APQP/PPAP process
• Oversee quality operations in the manufacturing facility
• Work with the Quality Lead to ensure quality auditors are performing their responsibilities to standard

Requirements

• Five or more years of experience in a manufacturing/quality function
• Additional training in quality methods, tools and techniques
• Two or more years of leadership experience

Qualifications

Formal education is a bonus but not required.
