Quality Auditor

About the role

This QA position is a W2 role with Donatech requiring US Citizenship or Permanent Resident status. The incumbent will inspect machined and welded parts using a coordinate measurement machine (CMM) to blueprint specifications, provide auditing support, perform scheduled calibrations, document results, collaborate with engineers, suggest equipment upgrades, and maintain calibration tools and supplies.

Responsibilities

• Operate coordinate measurement machine (CMM) to inspect machined and/or welded parts to blueprint requirements.
• Provide auditing support to shop floor operations.
• Perform scheduled calibrations on measurement instruments to meet industry standards.
• Document calibration activities and test results for compliance and traceability.
• Collaborate with engineers and technical personnel to resolve gage requirement issues.
• Suggest equipment upgrades and maintain calibration tools and supplies.

Requirements

• US Citizenship or Permanent Resident status.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of related work experience.

Skills

• Proficiency with CMM operation and calibration equipment.
• Ability to read, interpret, and work from blueprints.
• Experience with basic inspection tools (scales, calipers, micrometers, height gages, etc.).
• Technical knowledge of calibration standards, measurement principles, and quality control procedures compliant with NIST and ISO requirements.
• Hands‑on experience with electronic test equipment and related software.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Schedule

• Position supports second and weekend shifts.
• Ability to also support day shift as required.
