Jolly Technologies Inc. — a Silicon Valley-based software company with more than 40,000 customers and millions of users, including many Fortune 500 companies and world-renowned organizations. We are looking for a Quality Assurance Tester / QA Engineer with strong manual testing experience to test our cloud-based SaaS applications, including Eventleaf and Lobbytrack, as well as their associated mobile apps. This is a remote work-from-home contract position based in Lexington, KY.
Responsibilities
- Perform manual testing of cloud-based SaaS applications hosted on Microsoft Azure
- Test Eventleaf and Lobbytrack across a wide range of functional and real-world user scenarios
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and exploratory testing
- Test web application user interfaces, workflows, and usability across supported browsers and devices
- Test iOS, Android, and Windows 11 applications and their integration with the SaaS platforms
- Develop detailed test cases and test scenarios based on application requirements and real-world usage
- Execute test cases, document results, reproduce defects, and clearly communicate findings to developers and management
- Identify critical, intermittent, and difficult-to-reproduce defects
- Perform REST API testing and validate API responses and application behavior
- Perform integration testing with third-party services such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Teams, Slack, PayPal, and others
- Test single sign-on (SSO) integrations, including Microsoft Azure and Okta
- Perform regression testing following software releases, bug fixes, and new feature development
- Evaluate application behavior from the perspective of actual end users and identify usability issues
Requirements
- Proven experience performing manual QA testing of SaaS/web applications and/or mobile applications
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, test cases, test scenarios, and defect lifecycle
- Ability to independently create comprehensive test cases based on requirements, application behavior, and real-world user workflows
- Demonstrated ability to identify, document, and communicate critical and difficult-to-find software defects
- Experience with functional, regression, integration, system, exploratory, and usability testing
- Experience testing REST APIs is strongly preferred
- Experience testing iOS and Android mobile applications is strongly preferred
- Experience testing integrations, APIs, authentication, or SSO is a plus
- Familiarity with issue tracking and bug-reporting systems such as JIRA or similar tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly the ability to describe software defects clearly and precisely
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage testing assignments with minimal supervision
Pay
Estimated $25–$55/hour depending on experience, technical skills, and demonstrated QA testing ability
